Please join us in welcoming Sergeant Clayton Hays, who has recently joined the G4 Geomatic Resources LLC team as our public safety technical sales specialist. Clayton just retired from the Fort Worth Police Department after 30 plus years of law enforcement. He has also served our country for 10 years with the United States Marine Corp prior to becoming a police officer. We could not be happier to have him join our team and lead our sales and training efforts that will no doubt help the public safety law enforcement men and women that protect our country utilize the various Leica Geosystems technologies to the fullest.

Sergeant Hays has served as a Patrol Officer, Corporal, Sergeant and has also been assigned as a Detective of the Crimes against Children Unit. In addition, Sergeant Hays has served as a SWAT Sergeant, and spent several years as the Sergeant over the Commercial Auto theft / COBRA Bait Car Unit. For the last ten plus years Clay was assigned as the Sergeant of the Fort Worth Police Department’s Crime Scene Search Unit and supervises nineteen officers that investigated major cases that included homicide and robbery to name a few.

During his tenure Clay successfully organized the implementation of a Leica high-definition laser scanner program within the department using the Leica P-Series/RTC360 /BLK360 scanning technology. He created an operations center for training and viewing of laser scanning cases and instructed classes that promoted laser scanning to other police officers and various public groups.
